The next installment of fall mini sessions is here! I got the pleasure of photographing this adorable family last fall and now a year later, I get to see these little boys grow into...taller little boys! :P I love their spunk and energy and those cute little faces melt me! So maybe it was hard for them to sit still, but I just used it as an opportunity for them to run free and play. Grabbed my telephoto lens and snapped a few quick shots! I love working with this family. Nate and Diane are such sweet people and great parents and I can't wait to do more shoots in the coming years with them!

Shooting a maternity session was such wonderful way to celebrate love on Valentines Day this year! Celebrating the love between a married couple and the love of their expected child is really special and I'm so happy I got to photograph this part of my sister and brother-in-law's journey together. I've said it before and I'll say it again; pregnancy is just such a beautiful thing. My sister would probably disagree with that statement after all the "morning" sickness she's experienced and the major change to her body, but as her little sister, I just admire her so much. Just look at her...she's so beautiful! She opted for a whimsical look, wearing an adorable flower crown which worked so nicely with the field we shot at in the Calaveras Hills in Milpitas. The sun was hitting the hills just perfectly and made the shoot look so magical. Her baby bump is still small, but growing day by day. I'm so happy for her and her husband Marcus and I am just so anxious to meet their baby boy in May. This is will be not only the first nephew in our family, but the first grandchild! For my parents who raised all girls, this will be a fun change for them to have a boy in the family. I can't wait to be an aunt! Plus I'm really looking forward to shooting some awesome newborn shots! ;-)
This family is near and dear to my heart and I love doing shoots with them! Noah is literally the happiest baby I've ever met and is so fun to be around. I could watch this boy for hours as he explores and runs around with the biggest smile on his face! It's been so wonderful to see this family grow and see this special baby boy turn into a little toddler. For this shoot, we revisited Spring Valley Pond where we shot about Amanda's maternity session a year and a half ago. It's a nice little park in the Calaveras hills in Milpitas, CA that's perfect for kids to run around and play! Enjoy the pictures of the playtime! ;-)
Honestly, I can't get enough of this kid! Since I have no children of my own yet, nannying with the same family for two years is the closest I've come to feeling like a mother. It's been such a huge pleasure to watch these kids grow into little people! Camden, the youngest, was only 2 months old when I began working with the family and now he is a walking, talking 2 year-old boy. I have so much fun playing with Camden and just watching him discover the little things in life. So I decided that's just what I'd do for this shoot...watch him be him and snap photos along the way. Backyard shoots prove to be the most comfortable for the kids because they are at home in their element. As soon as I felt like he was distracted by the camera or getting shy, I put it down and just joined in on the fun until I got those genuine expressions again. He was such a good little boy for me on this shoot and I love the true sense of wonderment and smiles I got from him. Can't wait to see what he looks like by this time next year!
I love this family and always have a fun time shooting with the kiddos. This year, with their new addition, we were able to snap the first family portrait...and we even got one with everyone looking! Not gonna lie, getting all three kids to smile and look was a task. Nevertheless, I think these pictures capture their true personality of kids just being kids! Enjoy the photos from our shoot at Spring Valley Pond in Milpitas!
Wow, was I nervous about this bridal fair! I've never done one before so it was all new to me. Not to mention, it was completely last minute and stressed me out to the max. BUT it was worth it! I literally got offered a great deal on a booth from Bay Area Wedding Fairs just this past Thursday and whipped everything together in three days... definitely working late into the night/morning. But with help from friends and support from family, I got it together and had lots of fun. I got to meet a ton of people including brides, grooms and other vendors, which was great! Huge thanks to my loving fiancé Nick, who not only kept encouraging me, but actually came out to help me set up and stood by my side during the event! Thanks to all the brides and vendors I got to talk with. Hope we'll keep in touch!
My super last minute banner from Staples!

I'm so excited to post these photos from my shoot with the Crosby family up in the Calaveras hills in Milpitas, CA. This family is near and dear to my heart and I truly love them! As some of you may know, in addition to photography, I have been working as a nanny with a family of three kids for the past year. It has been such a huge blessing in my life and I am so grateful to have met them all. Recently, the youngest Crosby turned one and it's been such an exciting time to see him grow, walk and talk! Here's a few of my favorites from the day. Enjoy :-)
Part of my life is spent as a photographer and part of my life is spent taking care of three wonderful and beautiful kids. Last Friday I decided to combine both worlds and have some fun! Here are the results of some quality playtime out in the backyard with my favorite kiddies. They weren't the least bit camera shy!
I had such a fun afternoon photographing Aviana and Ellina's cowgirl themed birthday party! Aviana turned five years old this year and Ellina turned two. Their friends and family came to celebrate together in a giddy-up kind of style! The Crosby's gave their girls a birthday party to remember with a pink horse piñata, the classic, "Pin-the-tail-on-the-Donkey," cupcakes detailed with cow and pig faces, and of course fashionable cowgirl hats and boots. No detail was left untouched! Hope you enjoy looking at the pictures as much I enjoyed taking them!
