What a beautiful day it was in Felton for Hope and Jake's engagement session!  God definitely orchestrated a lovely set for the shoot...blue skies, golden light filtering through the tall trees and the perfect temperature.  I love how Hope and Jake knew right away that they wanted to do the session somewhere with Redwoods and what better place than in the Santa Cruz mountains!  They brought their adorable doggies along as well, Blue and Bunny.  Sweet pups with lots of energy, but maybe a little too much to sit still for pictures!  Luckily we got a few photos to show they made an appearance. ;-)Commemorating their love for craft beer, the happy couple brought their own brewed batch of "Pliny the Elder" complete with a custom label that Hope designed herself!  I love when brides are crafty and creative.   I'm so excited to shoot their wedding in September and I can't wait to see what the wedding details hold!  Happy 3 years of dating you two.  May you have many, many more years ahead!
