Kristy and Justin's 1 Year Anniversary

I love styled shoots.  I haven't done many, but I definitely want to do more!  Even just the smallest set with some cute props can bring a shoot to life.  Kristy and Justin came to me with the idea of doing an anniversary photo shoot to celebrate their one year anniversary this September and I was so excited!  We pulled together some ideas, chose a venue and starting shooting!  Kristy wore this adorable white dress with a darling bow on the back and completed her outfit by making her own bouquet.  She also brought a simple white cake that she decorated with their wedding cake topper and cut with their beautiful serving ware, also from their wedding.  And of course I had them cut the cake and (having the rest of the shoot in mind) politely feed each other...as tempting as it was to instead have them smash the cake in each other's face!  Plus, what's a trip to Picchetti Winery in Cupertino without a hike up to  the awesome oak tree grove?  We had just enough sun to capture some beautiful moments between the two love birds, and just enough darkness to snap an oak tree silhouette!  I love oak trees!  Can you tell?Thanks Kristy and Justin for a wonderful shoot and for creating such a fun setting to photograph.  Happy anniversary!
