I see you mama, busy with a million and one things on your to-do list but putting it on hold to play princess with your daughter.

I see you mama, running around from school to work to the sitters to soccer practice and still trying to get dinner on the table!

I’m here to help you slow down for an evening so you can keep the memorable moments in focus as the years pass on. As you may know, everything changes so fast when you have kids! The faces you think you’ll always remember, grow up and change. The tiny hands you hold now will one day no longer need you to cross the street. It’s the little things we often take for granted in the busyness of life that need a photo to remember all the details.

Hey, I’m Briana, and I’m your girl if you want to have a fun, memorable photo shoot capturing those beautiful moments you really love about life! I’m based in the Seattle-Tacoma area and I’ve been a photographer since 2010. I have photographed countless families, weddings and kids in my career since graduating with a degree in Photojournalism.

I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for over 8 years and have two darling little girls. My family is my world and inspire me everyday. Being a mom has strongly influenced my love for documenting the journey of motherhood from maternity to newborns, and all the years that follow.

How it All Started

Now I know a lot of moms turn into photographers because they want to document their kids, but I had a camera in my hands long before I ever had a baby in them! Motherhood was something I knew I always wanted before I ever knew I’d be a photographer so my career path caught me by surprise! I realized in my high school photography class how much I loved taking pictures and saw that I could pursue photography as a job.

It wasn’t until studying photojournalism in college that I even thought about running my own business! That to me meant I could be my own boss, make my own hours and be home with my kids when that day came. I was sold and I hit the ground running with back to back internships in wedding photography and networking with whoever I could! Weddings were my main focus for several years but once I moved to the Seattle area and had my first baby girl, I knew it was time to incrementally change my direction.

My heart has now fallen in love with documenting families and the journey of motherhood, from maternity to newborn and the years that follow! Now that you know a little about me, won’t you join me in a session? I’d love to help you fill those frames or albums with the faces you love so much!
