Courtney & Travis's Engagement Shoot in Bonney Lake

Can Courtney and Travis stop it with the cuteness already? I love everything about this shoot! The smiles and laughter, the scenery, and the sweet couple! I met Courtney last summer at a fun neighborhood party. She was so easy to talk to and just had a warm presence. She’s the kind of person you just want to be friends with right away, ya know? I remember her telling me how she recently bought a house in our neighborhood with her boyfriend, which begged the question, so engagement soon? :-) She hoped but wasn’t rushing it. I casually told her when the time came, I was a wedding photographer and would be happy to shoot her photos. Fast forward to this October and Travis put a ring on it! And I was so flattered that Courtney reached out to me to photograph their engagement photos. It’s always so funny to me when couple’s tell me they are awkward in front of cameras at the beginning of the session and then NAIL it when I start shooting. Courtney and Travis were that couple: easy to laugh with, affectionate, and super evident they are in love. That’s what makes a perfect engagement shoot, not the forced smiles or stiff poses! If you couldn’t tell, I had a great time with them and love how their photos turned out!
