Bonney Lake Maternity Photo Shoot on the Tehaleh Forest Trail

I have been off the blog radar for quite some time, but am excited to be back for this brand new year! I think we all hope 2022 will be a year of promise, change and hope. Hope is exactly what this sweet couple had to hold on to after 4 years of trying to get pregnant. Such a hard road led to this amazing gift of pregnancy. I think I’ll always be in awe of the creation of life and as a woman and mother myself, I am so grateful to have experienced the journey.

I was so honored that I got to document Laurie’s maternity photo! I hope these serve as cherished mementos that patience, perseverance and the amazing work of IVF can really pay off. This month they will be welcoming their long-awaited daughter into the world! Though Laurie wanted the full fall vibe, fall in Washington means lots of rain! After pushing the shoot out a few weeks for drier weather, we ended up with just the tail end of fall. Nevertheless, we still had some lingering leaves along the forest trail and an eye-catching mustard yellow dress that she looked great in!
