Maternity Shoot at Mayflower Dairy Farm

I absolutely love capturing these keepsake memories for expecting families! Maternity photos have quickly become one of my favorite types of portraits to shoot. There is just something so exciting about the expectant arrival of a brand new life! I was so honored when Saxon asked me to photograph this special time for her and Ian. I was lucky enough to meet Saxon earlier last year through a mutual friend in the neighborhood. She was one of the first ladies to make me feel welcome and accepted into this new circle of friends. I remember the first time meeting her, I thought she was so warm, friendly and just so sweet. After she invited me to her Bachelorette viewing parties, I knew we were destined to be good friends, haha! We’ve been fostering a great friendship ever since.

After our family photo this fall, she didn’t hesitate to ask me about shooting her maternity and newborn photos. I was super excited and very flattered! Now with just a month away ‘til her due date, I’m anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little girl. I know Grace is going to be a wonderful big sister and both girls are going to get spoiled with love from their parents. Looking forward to our newborn shoot next month!
