Baby Mateo's Newborn Photo Session

Having just celebrated my daughter’s first birthday, I’ve been reminiscing over all the first days and weeks of her life. They were hormonal, overwhelming, tiring and somehow beautiful all at the same time. I really do cherish that first part of her life. Everything was new and foreign, but so wonderful that she was finally in our arms! So whenever I do a newborn shoot now, I am taken back to those beginning weeks and remember them fondly because they were fleeting!

Jaime and Izzy honestly seemed like naturals. I came in to greet Jaime and she was ever so calmly trying to dry off little Mateo after a bath while he cried profusely. She was not phased and I loved it! She simply continued to dry him and wrap him up and all was well again. Jaime was all smiles from beginning to end. Despite the cries here and there, no one was frantic and everything went smoothly! Izzy and Jaime just looked so in love with Mateo. He was absolutely adorable...all 6 pounds of him! Just a little peanut who was wide awake for the whole session. He was full of life and they were full of love. Very happy for the two of them and hope to have many more family shoots in the future!
