Pamela & Brett's Wedding at Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine

What a gorgeous Fourth of July wedding!  Needless to say, there were a lot of unknowns leading up to the big day. With the coronavirus, weddings have taken on a whole new look. Sadly, many have been rescheduled and others have made major modifications.  Pamela and Brett luckily still got to have their beautiful wedding at the Semiahmoo Resort and Spa up in Blaine Washington and I was honored to photograph it!  Even through all the changes due to COVID, Pamela always seemed positive, hopeful and was a sweetheart anytime we talked through the planning.  Though it ended up being a very intimate guest list, the day of felt like any other wedding I’d attended (perhaps aside from the all masks!) No sense of anticipation or thread of joy was lost due to the unique nature of this pandemic.  Tears were shed, smiles were radiant, and vows were exchanged just as any other wedding day!

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect and the seascape was shimmering throughout the day.  Pamela and Brett were full of laughter, which always makes my job easy. Photographing these two was a breeze and I really had a such a fun time with them! I loved all the navy blue accents and the nods to their favorite English football team, the Tottenham Hotspurs (check out the custom made mask and wedding cake)! I can’t think of a better way to have spent this Fourth of July.  Enjoy the favorite photos I picked out below!
