Accessorize Your Photo Shoot with Handmade Earrings by Bonney Lake Business Thea and Grace

You’ve heard me talk about what to wear for your photo shoot plenty of times, but I’ve only ever talked about clothing! Now I’m going to go one step further and remind you of the special touch accessories bring. Specifically jewelry! I reached out to the amazing woman behind the Bonney Lake business, Thea and Grace who specializes in handmade polymer clay earrings. She has such a talent for envisioning and creating these earrings, all on her own, and is always coming up with new ideas for the seasons.

If you’re looking to elevate your next photo session with a touch of class or a touch of fun, consider a pair of these unique earrings! And hey, remember shopping local, small businesses goes a long way.

Tell readers about yourself and how you started Thea and Grace-

My name is Joy, and I am based here, in Bonney Lake, WA - in the Tehaleh community to be exact (offering free local deliveries in the Tehaleh neighborhood). I am a Veteran wife and mother to 2 beautiful girls - Thea & Grace, lol!

Thea & Grace is turning one this coming January! After many years of working for the corporate world, I made the bold decision to leave my job and focus on my family and my creative endeavors, especially after the birth of our youngest. I've always been fascinated by design and creation. I took Fashion Merchandising in college and decided it was too much for me, so I switched to Visual Merchandising instead (and yes there is a difference, lol!), so both majors play a part in this creative endeavor. From crafting projects to fashion, I always found joy in making something beautiful and unique. One of my most memorable creations was my own wedding bouquet, made entirely out of paper flowers.

When I started this business, it was the 1st time I have ever played with polymer clay, so it has been fun watching myself grow in the last year when it came down to which styles I really wanted to represent the brand.

Who are you trying to reach with your products?

Thea & Grace was built out of love for fashion, comfort and fun. It is for the gal that is on the go, always on the run, whether she's a SAHM running after toddlers all day or doing her thing in the corporate world. We know that our earrings aren't just jewelry—they're a mood booster. We love our earrings for their ability to bring some color and joy into your life, no matter what kind of day it is you're having. Whether you're looking for something fun and flirty or classic and timeless, we've got you covered.

What is your favorite thing about what you do?

I get to set my own schedule, and work on my own pace and still be able to spend time with my family and run errands while doing what I love!

If someone were thinking of wearing accessories for a photo shoot, what are some earrings you would suggest?

Oh, this is hard! It really depends on the look you're going for and the theme! I had a customer wear our Vintage Tree (recently released item) to her family's Christmas photo shoot recently!

What are your best selling items?
My best sellers are the Lola and Taylor (which I need to restock on as I am typing this, lol!) And of course, anything Disney related, they're just so fun! You can find them in the shop here:

Lola - https://theagraceco.com/products/lola

Taylor - https://theagraceco.com/products/taylor

What makes you and your business unique?

We are small batch and slow made-  meaning I make no more than 5 pairs of each style at a time (unless it's a wholesale or special order) - this way I am able to deliver a clean and detailed pair rather than creating a pair just for the sake of having something created. You can see a lot of love put into each of these beauties!
