Erin and Edgar's Engagement in Rainy Cupertino

If you live in California, you know how bad the drought has been and how the forecast of rain has been few and far between.  With our luck, we apparently scheduled the engagement shoot on the one day the Bay Area finally saw rain!  Erin and Edgar were such troopers though and toughed out the rainfall, even though it started coming down pretty hard.  We found shelter in the nearby trees and nearly called it a day, but they ending up braving the cold, wet trail and even danced in the rain!  It wasn't long after we decided to walk back to the car that a rainbow came out for a brief minute and then dissipated into the suddenly blue sky.  How could we call it quits then?  Naturally we decided to keep shooting and I'm glad I ended up getting some very sweet and also playful shots of the happy, and slightly damp, couple.  I'm really looking forward to their wedding in Morgan Hill this coming October.  I may have to pack an umbrella, just in case!
